Launched in October 2024, the new Partner Academy is more than just a learning platform. It’s a strategic enablement hub, offering role-based, outcome-focused learning journeys designed to meet partners where they are, and guide them to where they want to be. Whether discovering opportunities, positioning solutions, closing deals, or delivering services, Partner Academy is the go-to resource for leveling up partner expertise.
Built with partners in mind
Aligning with the recently launched Rapid7 PACT Program, what sets this new Partner Academy apart is our intentional design—created with and for partners. We've taken into account not only the different roles our partners play but also how those roles align with the entire customer lifecycle. This means robust training content that spans sales, pre-sales technical, and post-sales services.
The program is designed to be a valuable program benefit, not a checkbox. We’re focused on streamlined, prescriptive learning paths that are directly aligned with business outcomes and customer success.
Early results: Strong engagement, even stronger feedback
Since launch, the response to the new Partner Academy has been overwhelmingly positive. More than 2,000 partner learners have enrolled so far, with 60% completing multiple certifications. In total, partners have earned over 3,700 certifications and counting.
We’ve also heard directly from more than 600 learners, and the results speak for themselves:
Average satisfaction score: 90%
Average Net Promoter Score (NPS): 63 - well above the benchmark of 50, which Bain & Company (creators of NPS) consider “excellent”
Across the board, partners say the Academy is exceeding expectations. They’ve called the content clear, relevant, and thoughtfully designed - a valuable resource for both new learners and seasoned professionals alike. Most importantly, it's helping partners build deeper expertise and stay ahead in an ever-evolving threat landscape.
Looking ahead
The new Rapid7 PACT partner program expands beyond resellers to include a broader ecosystem of Managed Services Providers (MSPs and MSSPs), Global System Integrators (GSIs), Distributors and Service Delivery Partners. This approach rewards the total value of partnership, recognizing contributions across both resale and services revenue.
To further drive this, we’ll be introducing several new Partner Services Specializations in the Partner Academy over the coming months. These specializations are designed to help technical, product specialists, and consulting architect teams deepen their service delivery capabilities and leverage their expertise in delivering value to customers, further reinforcing Rapid7’s commitment to enabling all aspects of the partner business.
The new Partner Services Certifications in the Partner Academy will also provide competitive differentiation by recognizing partner capabilities while enabling them to accelerate their profitability with us. Enabling partner-led customer success undeniably optimizes customer value, increases lifecycle monetization opportunities, improves customer and partner experience, and expands platform adoption.
